Music Monday! Kiss That Frog

'Frogass!'

huh? I was confused at this outburst.

Hubby is giggling, though I don't believe he is actually awake.

'Why did you make so many shipwrecks?'

Um, we don't live near the ocean hun, and I didn't cause any shipwrecks.

'Frogasses are so small!'
(imagine fingers now showing how tiny a frog's ass is)

I roll my eyes, call him Frogass, and take the coffee back in the kitchen.
(I bring him coffee every day to wake him up, aren't I a sweet wife?)

Well, the bribe of coffee didn't work that day. Hubby was still in dreamland when I tried to wake him up at 7am to see off my cousin who had visited. She was leaving early, as it was a long drive home.

So I let him sleep. When he finally got up about an hour later, I said
'Morning Frogass'!
He started laughing. Apparently he remembered his dreams!

I showed him this video I found, and he said,
'Gabriel and I were there together! He gets it!'

Oh, I wish I had dreams like this, or the frogass dreams. What a spectacular world they can enter.
Hubby is an artist.
This explains a lot.

My dreams of late, that I can remember that is, generally are more real. Like spreadsheets, actually selling things to customers, and packing, moving, unpacking, etc. Also, many dreams have been in my parents house from when I was a kid, and mixed with my first house with hubby.
(yes, I get it, stress, changes, leaving things to forge new beginnings, blah blah blah.)

I like dreams and trying to analyze them. Maybe when I get settled, the stresses are eased, after all stress has been my life in the last month (well year really, but most stress in the last month), when I can get back to creating Toekini's and the like, and can not worry so much about money and lack thereof, maybe then I can enter a spectacularly weird and colorful dreamland that I will remember!

Until then, I must experience my dreams vicariously through hubby, and old Peter Gabriel songs.

Are you good at remembering dreams? Are your dreams colorful and fanciful, or more real and mundane?

Frogass!

  1. Funny! I wish I had fanciful dreams. I am definitely the more mundane dreamer. We recently moved and during that time, a lot of my dreams were related to places I used to live, especially the house I grew up in - only my family was there, not the family I grew up with.

Color or black and white? I'll have to pay attention next dream :)
