So you created your product, you took some great pictures, and now you have to get it listed so everyone can see it. You are ready to give it a title, and you are stumped. You sit and look at it, and all that comes to mind is the color, the material, and what it is. Not a very exciting name. This won't grab attention. But nothing else comes to mind. I have been there.   Last night in fact. After several tries, after much frustration, I remembered a listing a fellow Zibbeter shared the other day. Let me share it with you here. Spined Micrathena - Guest Post from my Hubby

Spined Micrathena "Will you walk into my parlor?" said the Spider to the Fly,     "'Tis the prettiest little parlor that ever you did spy;     The way into my parlor is up a winding stair,     And I have many curious things to show you when you are there."     "Oh no, no," said the Fly, "to ask me is in vain;     For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again."     "I'm sure you must be weary, dear, with soaring up so high;     Will you rest upon my little bed?" said the Spider to the Fly.     "There are pretty curtains drawn around, the sheets are fine and thin;     And if you like to rest awhile, I'll snugly tuck you in!"     "Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "for I've often heard it said     They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!"     Said the cunning Spider to the Fly, "Dear friend, what can I do     To prove that warm affection I

Walking on Wednesday - Top 10 Reasons (Excuses) Not to Walk

Image
Today, after 2 weeks of not going for my walk, I decided it may be a good idea to note all the reasons , i.e. excuses, I have not been for a walk in so long.  I started this series in the hopes of having it motivate me to walk, to keep with my goal of losing another 5 or so pounds, and to get in shape.  Lady J is always ready for a walk. It started out good, I grabbed the leash and the dog and I set out. Sometimes I was lucky enough to have my daughter with me, but often I just ventured out on my own, well me and the dog. But for the last couple weeks, I have not been for a walk. And all day today, I just couldn't bring myself to get out the door. Why ? What is stopping me? Well, not surprisingly I have a bunch of different reasons that are ultimately excuses. Here are some, but by no means an exhaustive list. fun to have coffee with Lucky Bug Mug Cozy 1.  It is too early (I need a nice cup of coffee, and think I'll check my email while I have it. by then, see nu

Music Monday! Boris the Spider

Image
I was out on the patio enjoying my coffee with my hubby this morning. We were going over our trip to Michael's yesterday. He joined me to "help" me find some Fleur de Lis charms for the Toekini's my sister asked me to make. (She is a French teacher) Well, every time I bring him I spend too much, (he "helps" me pick out beads and charms, and I always get more than I went for). This time we managed to spend twice as much as last time.  (shhhh....we are going to make a couple necklaces together! I didn't even ask him, it was his idea!!!) So we were having a great discussion about working together, and I felt an ant crawling up my leg. This is a common occurrence while sitting on the patio, so I leisurely reach down to swipe it away, but when I saw what it was...... Orb Spider I let out a scream I don't think I ever have before, swiped that thing off my leg, throwing my coffee all over the patio in the process, jumped up and ran to the door.  Ther

Walking on Wednesday - Trees Are Beautiful Even If Dangerous

Image
I love trees.  I love the shade, the leaves, all the different bark there is on all the different trees.  They house birds , bugs, sometimes snakes , and encourage all kinds of natural wildlife activity.  But sometimes, they are dangerous. This tree provided nice shade in our backyard,  but one windy rain filled day it decided  it had had enough, and just keeled over. It decided without taking into consideration  our electric line or cable line. There was no going back, it had let go of this earth. But it left an interesting void. If you can get past the danger, you can discover  all kinds of beauty under a tree as well. Yes, there are roots and bugs, and sometimes you can find things from settlements long gone.  This tree had what is usually of most interest to us,   if you remember ,  beautiful rocks! One of the rocks that was found under the tree  was this piece of quartz.  It makes a beautiful display for the   Apache Tear Pendant  (soon to be listed!)  from Jewelry By Bridget . A

Music Monday! Thank God I'm a Country Boy - Woo Hoo!!

Image
Summertime at an auction in the country.  Where I found this fine fella. This auction was full of saddles and horse related things, and this little cowboy stood out a bit and caught my eye. He is just under 3 feet tall, but that doesn't stop him from standing out from the crowd.  And he seems to be saying, just a little, Thank God I'm a Country Boy ! Maybe he doesn't have cakes on the griddle, probably some tortillas and beans, but you can tell this little cowboy can Yee-Haw, or Woo Hoo with the best of 'em. No one can do it like John Denver , though. I will always  remember him fondly thanks to the  The Muppet Show , where he fit in with those creatures and made a bunch of us kids in the 70's  like country music, even if only a little. So look for this Cowboy at Raige Creations and Vintage Raige later today, and give off a Yee-Haw or Woo Hoo. You will be surprised at how that makes you feel....
