NaBloPoMo Day 1 - Finding Views While Waiting For Pizza
Well, it's late on a Friday. I am sitting here watching a movie with my family, stressing about what to write about for the first day of National Blog Posting Month.
"Didn't she just do that?" I hear you asking.
Well, kind of. Well, yes I took part in National Blog Writing Month, where the goal was to write every day in the month of October.
But National Blog Posting Month is the month of November, and I joined a group on Blogher.com.
As the day wore on, I felt so uninspired, yet felt the pressure of getting something posted. I realized, not for the first time actually, that I am tired of stressing.
Dinnertime came. Pizza was on the menu (see tired of stressing above, and I DO stress about dinner regularly), but we had to go to the place to order it, and wait for it.
(They don't have to-go menus, and I actually find it easier to talk to them in person to order. Crazy I know, but whatever is easier for me wins these days, and driving there, ordering, and waiting, believe it or not, was easier.)
Well, after 60 seconds waiting, I decided I would go FIND inspiration for writing. So off we went, another mile or so up the road.
What we saw...well you know a picture is worth a thousand words...so instead of struggling to write about it, I decided to just show you. All of these pictures were taken while waiting for pizza.
You will also find out why I love where I live. Views like this are around almost every corner, down the street just a few miles away, seen almost every time I get in the car. That is one thing I am thankful for, where I live.
Enjoy.
Fall is such a beautiful time. A few weeks ago, I wouldn't have said that. But now, the colors are full, vibrant, and beautiful.

I know that won't last, and soon winter will be full on. But at least I could enjoy a few moments and views, all while waiting for pizza, of the moment.
Perhaps a good way to go through life. Enjoying the moment. Enjoying the writing. I will be doing lots of that. Enjoy!
(and thanks for reading.)
Oh wow your photos are beautiful! Glad you found your inspiration to write!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! All of our leaves fell off and turned brown within the last couple of days. Halloween is almost always grey and blah for us.
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of remembering to live in the moment... it's easy to get caught up in other things. :P
Okay, well, that was silly. I keep forgetting that posting on the tablet is not the same as on the computer. So the "Da" above is me!
ReplyDeleteLove LOVE all the images! Beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteInspiration is around all the time, if you allow yourself to see it!
ReplyDeleteDa...almost thought it was spam! lol. Is IS SO easy to get caught up. Enjoy each moment!!
Believe it or not, the pics are all taken with my phone! Not too bad, but next time I am going to use my camera!
