Music Monday! This is Halloween

Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

Poor Jack Skellington and his obsession with Christmas. There IS something about the holiday season that most of us can't resist too. Remember MY recent obsession with Christmas and Mini Stockings???

But today, it is about Halloween. 
Pumpkins, Trick-or-treating, spookiness and skeletons.

Enjoy the roasted pumpkin seeds and candy, and the ghosts and ghouls.

And trick-or-treat some for me. My kids are too old now to be interested in that. Plus our driveway is too long and spooky for us to be getting any trick-or-treaters. So it will most likely be a normal night for us. 

I am thinking Spaghetti for dinner....um I mean Worms and Blood....with garlic bread. How does that sound?? That is about as scary as things will be around here.

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
