The ABC's of Raige, aka Rebecca
This has been circulating and it's pretty neat...the ABCs of you, or in this case me! Feel free to copy.
A. Age: 38, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. (it was 29 for several years, then 34 for several more...38 is as high as I am going!)
B. Bed size: Queen
C. Chore that you hate: mopping, cleaning the cat litter, dishes, dusting, boy I would love a maid...
D. Dogs: One spoiled rotten cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human, about a 2 year old human.
E. Essential start to your day: Coffee, a little sweet and creamy
F. Favorite color: Purple! but I like blue too, and red, but mixed together is the best.
G. Gold or Silver: gold
H. Height: 5' 3 1/2" last I checked, but feeling shorter every day as my kids grow and suddenly I am looking up to them!
I. Instruments you play: should be USED to play: piano and clarinet
J. Job title: mother, wife, business owner, creator
K. Kids: 3 teens. now you know part of the reason I post so many 'stressed' posts....
L. Live: the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina
M. Mother’s name: Barbara, but preferred Barbi
N. Nicknames: Beck, Mo, Roo, Beth from someone who misunderstood Beck (I didn't have the heart to correct him after I finally realized he was actually calling me Beth!), and an old one my dad used to call me -Beckerooni
O. Overnight hospital stays: birth delivery - 3 times
P. Pet peeves: leaving the windshield wipers on when it's not raining! Leaving garbage on the counter instead of putting a bag in the bin and throwing it away, leaving the toilet seat up...ummmm...is that too many? Guess I better stop.
Q. Quote from a movie: "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." Tyler Durden-Fight Club
R. Right or left handed: Right
S. Siblings: 1 older brother, 1 older sister, 1 half sister who is really like a full sister
T. Time you wake up: 6:20 am on school days, later every other day
U. Underwear: usually. (heehee! really always, and definitely cotton, and usually colorful)
V. Vegetable you hate: I can think of a fruit before a veggie - Papaya, smells bad, tastes just as bad.
W. What makes you run late: I like to blame hubby, but sometimes it is just me. We both seem to still be running on 'Island Time'. It was perfectly acceptable to be 10 minutes late or more in the Caribbean.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: dental,chest, knee
Y. Yummy food that you make: Caribbean stewed chicken with rice and beans, meatballs, chili (WAYYYY better than Wendy's), and if I am very ambitious, an Indian dish of some sort. Now I am hungry!
Z. Zoo animal: I rode a camel last time I went to the zoo...they STINK! What you do for your kids.......

Alexandra - YES! use it. I saw it on another friend's blog, and then anothers, and enjoyed reading every one. Have fun with it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all enjoyed. I had fun with it too...we often don't think of ourselves too much, so this exercise is a good one to take a minute and reflect.
This seems fun. I'll do this on my blog too. I enjoyed reading yours. ;)
