I am sure I am not alone in wishing for the temperature to start going up! 

In this vein, I am sharing some of my warm weather creations for us to dream about no wool socks and slippers, no fuzzy socks, not being covered in quilts when watching tv, etc etc.

 Well, now back under the blanket, because it is really only 27 degrees outside, even though the sun is shining like it is Spring.

    It's hard to imagine others being so cold and wishing for a little summer when down under we're enjoying 86F, outdoors gardening and splashing in the pool to cool off. Wishing you one of our gorgeous sunny days :) The strappy footwear took me back to my youth when we used to make these at boarding school; not the elaborate ones, the first two examples. Thank you for bringing back the good memories.

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
