Music Monday! Crazy Train

Standing outside at 7:30 am, in my bathrobe, taking pictures of the sky.
(it had beautiful pinks and sweeping clouds)

Spaghetti and meatballs for breakfast.
(trying to make use of the leftovers from the fridge instead of throwing them away)

Yes, it might be one of those kinds of days.

At the very least, it will be interesting.

For a Monday, CRAZY might be the only way to handle it, a nice change from the unproductive, lazy, blah weekend I just experienced.

How do you get past an unproductive spell?

  1. Oiy! "Manic Monday" is one of my favorite Monday songs... http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Manic-Monday-lyrics-The-Bangles/9ED9658EEEDA61FC4825697D003210D0

An unproductive spell? Eiiiiih.... is there such a thing as a parent? I mean, you always end up making food/cleaning up/keeping the ship moving even if you don't get to be productive on the things *you* want to do (and boy do I know that feeling). I am not sure, actually... I'll have to think about that one!

    1. well, yes I got my morning chores done, have to. coffee made and pets fed, let out, etc. But my kids are older now so it is a little easier to say 'get your own' for lunch and dinners. But yes, other things got done just not the ones I should have done, you are right. Sometimes just starting is all it takes. other times the start is too much. c'est la vie! ;)

  2. Usually, my unproductive spells are because I am working too much. So when I get a day off, I enjoy the evening relaxing, and I hit the ground running the next morning.
Like today, for example. I worked the last 4 days, took it pretty lazy after work yesterday, and have already made (and consumed) muffins for breakfast, and finished my homework for the week, and I've only been up 5 hours.
Time for a hot drink, then decide what's next (probably some fresh air)...

  3. I make a list! I love crossing things off a list...it makes me get more done, and the bonus is I can go back and see what I've accomplished so I don't mope around and whine that I haven't done anything all day ;)

good for you though! There really is great satisfaction in crossing things off the list.
