I was just enjoying getting lost on my blog . {does anyone else ever do that? click on the 'you might also like' posts at the end of the blog and find old posts, old pictures, marvel at how good some posts are, how bad others are??} source And I realized Raige turned 4 this year! Past toddler years now. It is hard to believe it has gone by so fast. I noticed, too, that Raige has really grown. Particularly in the style of Toekini's. Check out THIS post , where I was celebrating one year. The Toekini's were different, thinner, more bead-y.  Should I go back to that style?  Or keep going in the thicker, wider direction? I guess there is room for both, right? What do you think? Comments welcome and encouraged. thanks.

I was just sitting here minding my own business, wasting time on the computer. An all to normal things these days..... Hubby was yapping about all the sales this weekend, being Labor Day Weekend.  Going on about how chainsaws were on sale. And dirt.  Well, we need dirt for all these little guys we are growing to sell to people who like hummingbirds.  Trumpet Creepers... hummingbirds love them Trumpet Creepers got lots who wants one? But a chainsaw? Great, what does he want to chop now? Men. So my mind keeps going on sales, and I say, " Should Raige have a Labor Day Weekend Sale? " He said " SURE! 20% off! "  I say, well, sounds good. So begin typing up the FB notice and he says, " make that good for custom orders too and maybe you will get some! "  Has he gone nuts? Probably.   Me? What does everyone say  when the temperatures reach  near 100 degrees ? How do you feel ? All of us here in the US have been feeling it over the past week. We have been feeling HOT HOT HOT ! So what do we do when we are feeling HOT HOT HOT? Being from the Caribbean, We take it off!  Take off your pants , put on shorts Take off your shirts , put on tank tops Take off your shoes , put on TOEKINI's And then dance a little, singing the catchy soca song, Hot Hot Hot   the original  by   Arrow, The King of Soca . Baby it's HOT!   Much of the East Coast USA has seen temperatures in or near the 100 degree mark.  For those lucky enough to have air conditioners, and lucky enough to be able to afford to turn them on, you have some relief. But for us, we count on fans and cold showers,very little clothes, and definitely no shoes, just flip flops or sandals .  I have worn Toekini's every time I went out, just slipping on some flip flops to keep my feet as open as possible, but still looking great.  In celebration of  sandaled feet, flip flopped feet, and bare feet, Raige is GIVING AWAY a set of Toekini's to keep cool with.  Winner will get to choose  ONE Pair of these Red Hot Toekini's!
