I am truly blessed, even though times have been rough. I can still smile, laugh a lot, and I never stop dreaming. 

This powerful song is perhaps the best way to start a Monday.

    I love sayings... seems like there's always something out there applicable to my state of mind and useful for pulling up out of a nose dive!

    I feel soooo bad... I just checked my spam comments and every last one of yours had ended up there. I'm not sure why! They're all approved now and I DO respond to all my comments (or try to at least), so I hope you don't think I was ignoring you! (I also replied to them.)     I love sayings too! I have a nice collection, and on any particular day I can find one that fits the moment.

    I almost always have to get psyched up to write by reading or listening to something inspiring. It's a good problem to have, as there is so much wonderful stuff floating around in the world.

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. But you just know when you click with someone and we are going on over 8 years of friendship, I believe, though it feels like we have known each other forever. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
