Featured Artisan ~ Frauke from Handmade Fuzzy

This week, the featured artisan is a very talented, good friend of mine - Frauke from Handmade Fuzzy. 

 I 'met' Frauke online, we are both Zibbetters, meaning we sell on Zibbet.com. Through forums, facebook, and some great groups, we developed a friendship, and finally met in person a few years after conversing online. 

 In person, sweet as ever. I so wish we lived closer as I think we would be getting together all the time to chat, share ideas, and basically motivate each other to be the best that we can be. Because that is the type of person she is. 

 Her talents are so many, she just lets creativity take over and 'wham', she has a beautiful finished product. (Her mice are just the cutest, btw. And I almost can't wait for my oldest to be in medical school so I can get him a Stethoscope Cover!)

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
