This week, the featured artisan is a very talented, good friend of mine - Frauke from Handmade Fuzzy .  I 'met' Frauke online, we are both Zibbetters, meaning we sell on Zibbet.com . Through forums, facebook, and some great groups, we developed a friendship, and finally met in person a few years after conversing online.  In person, sweet as ever. I so wish we lived closer as I think we would be getting together all the time to chat, share ideas, and basically motivate each other to be the best that we can be. Because that is the type of person she is.  Her talents are so many, she just lets creativity take over and 'wham' , she has a beautiful finished product. (Her mice are just the cutest, btw. Betsy is like me in a way, having fallen in love with art at a young age, then venturing off into a corporate world. Hers was technology.  We both also found inspiration in our daughters. This week, we have more beautiful jewelry and fiber items by Nancy, a talented creator from Massachusetts.  Nancy says:  Crafting is my hobby. I love jewelry making, knitting, crocheting, painting. I love trying new things to create new designs. Generally, I design my own items. I rarely use patterns and if I do, I will change something about them to make them unique. I do a lot of exploring in youtube for tutorials on basic techniques and then apply them to the stock products that I have. I hope to make very unique items. Anything you see in my store, especially knit, is very flexible and can be made in different color to tweaked slightly.
