Music Monday! Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Sitting here on this chilly night, with snow on the ground from a 'mini' snowstorm that hit us today (so I had to go get son from school 2 1/2 hours early). 

 This is before the 'big storm' we are anticipating tomorrow through Thursday.

 We are passing the time watching the Olympics, feeling the chill more looking at the snow and ice, and keeping an eye on the scrolling school closings across the bottom of the screen.

 As of now, they haven't closed school. But son is anxiously awaiting the news 'School Closed Tuesday.'

 But the uncertainty is frustrating.

 Will he stay or will he go?

We will probably get a call at 6:13 am (the usual time the automated calling system gets to our number). 

 So I will be up anyways. But he may get to sleep in.

 Maybe I will get to go back to bed...we will see.....in the meantime we can at least enjoy The Clash.

 This indecision's bugging me.....

      Well, Tuesday was a normal day - but TODAY (wed) is the snow day. Sadly, I still got up early.

It's not the kind of money tree you are thinking.  I wish it was. But it is not. It is technically a Pachira . The name supposedly comes from a story of it's origin.  A poor man prayed for money, and then found this "odd" plant. He took it home as an omen, and made money from selling plants grown from it's seeds. I bought it at a grocery store when we first moved back to the states, in 2004 . We had just moved in to our own house, after being displaced from Hurricane Ivan , and our new place needed some green. This was the biggest plant, for the least amount of money , at the grocery store. It said it was ' foolproof ' , and that is the right plant for me ! I thought the name was an omen too, hoping it would bring good fortune, meaning a little money .  It decorated our living room in New York for almost 6 years ! Music Monday! Just Dance

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. But you just know when you click with someone and we are going on over 8 years of friendship, I believe, though it feels like we have known each other forever. She has been a wonderful addition to our extremely small circle of friends. She is 'auntie' to my kids, she is who I vent to almost on a daily basis via messages, she is always willing to listen unconditionally. And that, my dear readers, is hard to find these days.
