Music Monday! Money
Requested due to the lovely day in the Stock Market today.
If anyone has any left after today.............................................................
If anyone has any left after today.............................................................
Pink Floyd wrote this about the bad things money can buy, but it is often misinterpreted as a tribute to money. Ironically, this song is the only one on the album to enter the top 20 on the Billboard Top 100, and the album sold over 34 million copies. Bet they didn't have to worry about the disastrous market today.....unless they decided to invest their fortune from this song into the Stock Market.
The optimist in me says 'what goes down must come up', a little different than Spinning Wheel, they had the flip side chorus to that. I sorta feel that perhaps the only way to go now is up. Let's hope so.
Well, regardless of our up and down markets, this song is great!
ReplyDeleteYUP! Love it - "keep your hands off my stash..." she says, wearily walking away from the news on television...............
