Walking on Wednesday ~ What Day Is It?

What day is it?
Lately, whatever day I think it is changes throughout the day. I am not sure what day of the week it is most of the time, and date of the month? Forget it. 

Yesterday, I greeted the chimney repair guys with - 
"OH is it the 18th already?" 
- suddenly remembering they set the repair date weeks ago, but wait, weren't they coming the 19th? Oh yes, it was the 19th!

Then later in the afternoon, while discussing an item that was going to be shipped on Friday that we had to package, I said, 
"but it is going to be picked up tomorrow!" 
Well, it was Thursday, right? NO, it was Wednesday. Oh yes, that is why I had blogger open with a blank page waiting for Walking on Wednesday. 

I think Pooh is right. 
- Today is my favorite day - 
Even if I don't know what day it is.

Mostly, it doesn't matter the name of the day, or the number of the day. It matters that we enjoy the day, find the joy in life.  Why complicate things and worry about names and numbers?

Have every day be your favorite day.

    lol. I think this is my favorite weds post ever. And I so love Pooh. Refreshing to see one of those original simple drawings when mostly we're surrounded by Disney Pooh hype.

    I thought today was Friday until my boys let me know the truth.

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
