Friday and Funky Mushrooms ~ a Zibbet Exhibit

What a beautiful Friday it is!
Add to that the celebration of Earth Day on Sunday, and I thought of the funky mushrooms that I have watched grow on the stump of that tree that broke in our driveway.
Funky Mushrooms, on the tree that broke in our driveway
These particularly unusual mushrooms seem to only grow on dead trees. There are a few others on fallen trees in the area, but this group had grown in such an attractive way. The rich browns and the bright white and the way they grew, well, they are quite funky.

So today in honor of funky mushrooms and Friday, I give you this Zibbet Exhibit of Friday's Funky Mushrooms, all found on ZibbetEnjoy the earth.
