Today is now officially 'Music Monday! Two for Tuesday!!' - Two Vidoes for being one day late.

The first video here is the UK version of this great song is the first video made by Dream Academy.  The second video is the updated version, when the song became a hit in 1985. 

It is a song that I certainly don't mind hearing more than once, and it is interesting to see the differences in the 2 videos. So get your sweater, and enjoy!






We moved from a northern town to get away from the cold and long winters, but it sure feels like up north down here lately. The kids even said 'it sure feels like New York'.
But we haven't unpacked the jackets yet - still not ready to embrace the colder weather.

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. But you just know when you click with someone and we are going on over 8 years of friendship, I believe, though it feels like we have known each other forever. Weekend Musings ~ Will Walk for Bread

Back in the mountains, I love it. I forgot how lovely the summer is here, and finally the weather is gorgeous. The flowers are out and everything is green. Wildflowers My musing this weekend are as simple as enjoying two of my favorite things:  Walking and  Bread It has been tough for me to let myself take the time to get a few walks in ~ yes I was too busy to get walks in and I know that is just an excuse but sometimes you just gotta take a break. From everything.  And any more than that, I just do not want to dwell on. Also, I am not feeling too wordy today, so will just let the pictures speak for me. The road to the RAD and the bakery nestled in the district with the bread (no beer for me)  A river crossing - it sure did look muddy today probably from the recent rains. Bread and soft pretzel - yumminess. River crossing heading home - lovely even if still muddy.
