Raige Creations

I was just enjoying getting lost on my blog . {does anyone else ever do that? click on the 'you might also like' posts at the end of the blog and find old posts, old pictures, marvel at how good some posts are, how bad others are??} source And I realized Raige turned 4 this year! Past toddler years now. It is hard to believe it has gone by so fast. I noticed, too, that Raige has really grown. Particularly in the style of Toekini's. Check out THIS post , where I was celebrating one year. The Toekini's were different, thinner, more bead-y.  Should I go back to that style?  Or keep going in the thicker, wider direction? I guess there is room for both, right? What do you think? Comments welcome and encouraged. thanks.

When I mention that my mother-in-law is in town now for over a month, I often get looks of horror and sympathy. I have heard horror stories, and tales of horrible mother-in-laws, but I am forced to explain at each reaction to my statement, that I am one of the lucky few that has a wonderful mother-in-law . I explain that we get along better than if she were my own mother! What does everyone say  when the temperatures reach  near 100 degrees ? How do you feel ? All of us here in the US have been feeling it over the past week. We have been feeling HOT HOT HOT ! So what do we do when we are feeling HOT HOT HOT? Baby it's HOT!   Much of the East Coast USA has seen temperatures in or near the 100 degree mark.  For those lucky enough to have air conditioners, and lucky enough to be able to afford to turn them on, you have some relief. But for us, we count on fans and cold showers,very little clothes, and definitely no shoes, just flip flops or sandals .  I have worn Toekini's every time I went out, just slipping on some flip flops to keep my feet as open as possible, but still looking great.  In celebration of  sandaled feet, flip flopped feet, and bare feet, Raige is GIVING AWAY a set of Toekini's to keep cool with.  Winner will get to choose  ONE Pair of these Red Hot Toekini's! Celebrating the sun all weekend, and the listing of my sunshine inspired Toekini's, here is Coldplay and " Yellow ". Fittingly, the video is on a beach, tho the weather is not ideal.  Coldplay - New Music - More Music Videos This made me think of, well what else, my newest sunkissed yellow Toekini's! These blue glass beads made me think of a drop of water on a ray of sun.  So, they are called 'A Drop of Water on a Ray of Sun' .
