Technology - It's a love/hate thing....
As some of you may know, right before Christmas, I experienced some rather large computer problems. To make a long story short, it was necessary to restore back to factory settings, which means everything on your computer is wiped clean and you start over.
You must save and backup everthing you want to keep before you do this restore, but of course that was one of the problems with my computer - it wouldn't save to disc, thumb drive, internet - it just wouldn't save anything. So I lost most of my shop pictures, blog pictures, and article pictures. My little bit of consolation was that they were all on the web, even if not the originals.
As I have learned, this is not much of a consolation. The pics on the web are not of the size or quality I would like to have, and on some sites, if the pic is not on your computer, it disappears from the site! And some sites you can't save the pic.
Ah well, some good came of it. I found all these great items and made a wonderful collection out of my love/hate feelings towards computers. It gave me some good ideas of how to handle the next computer failure - smash it into tiny pieces, and make something cool out of it.

I've been doing the same since my laptop was nicked - it's amazing how reliant I've become on computers - who knew! Looks like you've got a good work around though :-)
