Didn't get my walk in today, it rained nearly all day.  But I did get some good laughs over some of these. These are real signs. No matter how ridiculous they may seem, remember that at some point in time, someone did something to make each of these signs necessary. All are from The Happy Place . I'd like to try that....walk without walking...hmmmm  duh  gotta print these instructions out, hubby wants a hat for Christmas....  ?????  every store should have that one.  BEST doorbell ever!  apparently lots of toilet troubles have happened in the past.....  I wish I knew where this was...never knew this was a problem. I had a great post nearly ready for today.  I DID! I thought of it late, to be sure, but got the idea, took photos and everything. Then, had to run son to work, pick up a fixed old computer from the Geeks , drop daughter off at friends, fold laundry, replant a plant (part of planned blog), get dog beds from the line outside (thank goodness they are dry). This is after cleaning kitchen, bathing dog, spraying flea medicine on her (instant itchy nose), shaved the cat best I could with hair clippers (she has long hair and also needed flea spray, and I WASN'T gonna try to get that spray through all that hair! and she absolutely HATES water to a water bath is completely out, I do  not feel like having cat claws stuck in my arm, thank you very much!), then sprayed the cat with flea stuff, cleaned the floor where cat was shaved (want to cut nose off my face now it itches to bad!!), then showered. Oh, and insert 'did lots of laundry' in there somewhere.  So after...

What is your favorite way  to spend time with your family? I so value time with my family. My own mother owned her own photography business, and was always running around taking pictures, or in her darkroom processing the days work. I remember missing her a lot, at dinner time and evenings. Maybe that is why I value these times with my own family. Our dinners usually are full of talk. Sometimes the conversations need a jump start, but once they get going, we sometimes sit at the table with our dirty plates for up to an hour after we have finished eating. I love family dinner times. A recent development in family time has brought me even more joy. We all end up in the living room after dinner, boys playing video games, me on my laptop, daughter on her netbook, hubby nearby on his PC tower. I play some music, sometimes looking for Music Monday ideas, which everyone has suggestions for. This leads to a wide variety of music choices, and a great listening adventure we all share....

The other day I got up early and saw the kids off to school, sat down at the computer anticipating a very productive day! Suddenly, it is 11am , and I had wasted 4 hours messing around on the computer.  I got some food (realized I was hungry after all that wasted time) and went right back on the computer. Oh, I re-sized a few pictures, networked, read up on some pertinent blog news (I found a great website for such things! click for link ). I read some unrelated things, as I always seem to get sidetracked, and of course that pesky FB game kept me busy for much longer than I realized too. Suddenly it was 2pm. Can you believe it? another 3 hours!!!   I know we have all experienced days like this. But this time I was so mad at myself! So much time wasted! I decided I had 2 choices . 1.  Embrace it!
