I shouldn't feel lazy, right? I shouldn't give myself a hard time for my unproductive behavior. I keep telling myself this, but we are our own worst critics, aren't we? We all are going through strange times. Our lives have abruptly changed. There is stress, worry, anxiety, and rules. Harsh rules. I am not allowed out and about from 7pm to 5am every day. Only from 5 am to 7 pm can we venture out. And even then there are further restrictions. Sundays I am not allowed to leave my yard at all. I am allowed to leave my house to exercise for 90 minutes daily during the hours mentioned above - except Sundays. I am allowed to go to the grocery store, gas station, or liquor store { yes they are essential apparently } only on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. They split the alphabet and the first half can go those days, the 2nd half can go the other day, you have to show your ID to get in the store. I will be arrested or fined if I break any of these rules. I am working...

T his day after Easter .... we all have CANDY on our minds,  if not the other .... Marcy Playground - Music - More Music Videos This was Marcy Playground 's one hit,  although the album this song was on is pretty good.  As Wikipedia says:   Marcy Playground   is quiet and minimalist in tone. So on Easter Monday this year,  where it is an official holiday in many countries ,  maybe the CANDY from yesterday  will have a partner -  Sex and Candy .

Easter Monday is an official holiday in 117 countries. Including the US Virgin Islands. (would love to be there right now - 3rd Monday in a row that it is damp, rainy, yucky!)  It is celebrated as a day of rest, a day for many to enjoy the time outdoors in countries such as Australia and Canada. Easter parades occur in some parts of the world on Easter Monday. It is known as Dyngus, or Splash Monday, among many Polish communities where children often play water games.  In fact there is the largest Dyngus Day celebration up in Buffalo, NY! Easter Monday was formerly regarded as unlucky and was therefore known as Black Monday (White Monday in Greece). Many sources attribute this expression to great losses of life during military expeditions but Monday itself was generally considered unlucky. The Easter Bunny of Western European legend brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children on the night before Easter. It will either put the baskets in a designated place or hide them somewhere in the house or garden for the children to find when they wake up in the morning.  According to the tradition, children would build brightly colored nests, often out of caps and bonnets, in secluded areas of their homes. The Easter Bunny would, if the children had been good, lay brightly colored eggs in the nest. Yup - said Easter Egg Cozy. These vibrantly colored egg cozies bring spring colors and Eastertime any eggs. They almost don't need to be colored, so are perfect for those who don't like to color eggs, or don't have time to color and clean up the mess. But those of us who DO like to color eggs, these are added fun. We started this because, though some in the family enjoy coloring Easter Eggs, other(s) REALLY do not like the coloring process (along with the dislike of carving pumkins, decorating Christmas Trees, among other holiday preparations, but those are stories for another day!
