Music Monday! Rock Lobster

We were treated with lobster on Easter Sunday...wish I had heard this song a couple weeks ago.
So when I came across this sone, listening to a playlist on Amazon of all places, while at work of all places, I had to stop and listen to these hilarious lyrics. And start craving lobster.





What a groovy tune, man. And bunch of goofy dancing too, perfect for a rough Monday.

And listen to the sounds of the Jellyfish! Narwhals, piranhas, manta-rays oh-my!
Hysterical.

Why go through a Monday that is normal when you can get through it with this song?
Put in on while at work, I guarentee you this will brighten your workday.
And, probably make you crave lobster.
Sorry 'bout that.

It's not the kind of money tree you are thinking.  I wish it was. But it is not. It is technically a Pachira . The name supposedly comes from a story of it's origin.  A poor man prayed for money, and then found this "odd" plant. He took it home as an omen, and made money from selling plants grown from it's seeds. I bought it at a grocery store when we first moved back to the states, in 2004 . We had just moved in to our own house, after being displaced from Hurricane Ivan , and our new place needed some green. This was the biggest plant, for the least amount of money , at the grocery store. It said it was ' foolproof ' , and that is the right plant for me ! I thought the name was an omen too, hoping it would bring good fortune, meaning a little money .  It decorated our living room in New York for almost 6 years ! Music Monday! Just Dance

A surprise suggestion, this song was. I asked a friend-who-is-family for some ideas, as I wanted to do a Music Monday this week, but was having trouble picking a song. Just didn't have any that felt right at the time. So this friend, who by the way is someone we (hubby first actually) 'met' online. Communicated for quite a while before actually meeting in person. But you just know when you click with someone and we are going on over 8 years of friendship, I believe, though it feels like we have known each other forever. She has been a wonderful addition to our extremely small circle of friends. She is 'auntie' to my kids, she is who I vent to almost on a daily basis via messages, she is always willing to listen unconditionally. And that, my dear readers, is hard to find these days.
