Lately I've been losing sleep Dreaming about the things we could be But baby I've been, I've been praying hard Said no more counting dollars We'll be counting stars, yeah we'll be counting stars If only it were that easy.  I would love to just count stars.... Someday The worry of the other will be gone and only counting stars will be left. A girl can dream, right?

My favorite hour of the day............. There is the early morning, if I happen to be able to get out of bed, just while it's getting light. The birds are just starting to make noise, the sky is a beautiful hue, and there is so much possibility. I make coffee, do the morning routine until it is finished brewing, and then sit and ponder what the day has in store. source Or else it's Tea Time. I love tea in the afternoon, if I am not too tired by then to put the kettle on. It is a time to re-group and relax a bit. Whenever life gets you down Mrs. Brown, and things seem hard or tough, and people are stupid, obnoxious or daft, and you feel you've had quite enough.....just remember: It helps us get through days like my experience with the 'daft' staff at KFC last night, where "fast food" took close to a full 20 minutes. I had to deal with baffled looks and ' you didn't get your order?' , and 'oh she must have given your order to those other people' . Duh. Particularly frustrating because my order included an unusual request that the cashier had to ask for help with. Not the normal 'blend in', 'I'll have the Number 8 combo meal ' order. You would think she would have remembered me!! Anyhow, my son was right. 'Just calm down mom!'  that he had to repeat about 5 times as I was getting more and more frustrated.  It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. We got our food, and even tho my thoughts kept going ba...

I missed stargazing the other morning. Apparently there was a meteor shower in the early morning on Sunday, but I slept right through it.  They said it would seem that the meteors  come from the Club of the famous constellation Orion the Hunter . I don't think I even know where that is in the sky. But still, I love star gazing, and when we can be shown an even more spectacular bright fireballs and persistent trains it is worth seeing. Maybe next month we can see the next round of meteors decorating the sky. There are opportunities to see meteors at least every month.  Until then, we will gaze at Andrew Wood - an influential and inspiring musician who burned bright and faded far too soon.
