Especially when my coach (hubby) says he is not up for going with me. I sit and battle with myself that I really SHOULD go, but don't want to ~ it takes so much preparation to go. Both physically and mentally. These help, a little gift I got myself - I LOVE these goggles. He usually says, after I whine about the struggle to him, ' Just go if you're gonna go !'  His way of motivating. Gee, thanks coach . I guess it is somewhat effective. I have this struggle nearly every time I plan to go for a swim workout, so I often go to Pinterest for motivation, as one does. Sugar. Baby. Well what other song could I do after a weekend of mosaic butterflies? Sexy butterflies?  That may be stretching it a bit...but this little ditty just popped in my head every time I talked about 'my' butterflies.   Hot Mamma Butterfly Here they are, unfinished ~ just need some grout, and some antennae. Boxes full of broken glass ~ Be careful what you wish for. For more years than I can remember, I have wanted to try mosaic's. I view things like dish sets, pieces of glass, and broken mugs as broken into tiny pieces waiting to be re-assembled and grouted into something beautiful.  I have even purchased entire sets of dishes at yard sales just for the purpose of breaking and then mosaic'd. Of course, we are using one of said dish sets now, and I sold the others before we moved because I really couldn't justify spending the time, effort and money moving three sets of dishes with the hope of someday doing mosaics.  I shouldn't have worried, because at our first estate sale here in NC, hubby got me an entire mess of broken glass (see photo to the left) because I was ALWAYS talking about how I wanted to do mosaics. I was out on the patio enjoying my coffee with my hubby this morning. We were going over our trip to Michael's yesterday. He joined me to "help" me find some Fleur de Lis charms for the Toekini's my sister asked me to make. (She is a French teacher) Well, every time I bring him I spend too much, (he "helps" me pick out beads and charms, and I always get more than I went for). This time we managed to spend twice as much as last time.  (shhhh....we are going to make a couple necklaces together! I didn't even ask him, it was his idea!!!) So we were having a great discussion about working together, and I felt an ant crawling up my leg. This is a common occurrence while sitting on the patio, so I leisurely reach down to swipe it away, but when I saw what it was......
