I had a great post nearly ready for today.  I DID! I thought of it late, to be sure, but got the idea, took photos and everything. Then, had to run son to work, pick up a fixed old computer from the Geeks , drop daughter off at friends, fold laundry, replant a plant (part of planned blog), get dog beds from the line outside (thank goodness they are dry). This is after cleaning kitchen, bathing dog, spraying flea medicine on her (instant itchy nose), shaved the cat best I could with hair clippers (she has long hair and also needed flea spray, and I WASN'T gonna try to get that spray through all that hair! and she absolutely HATES water to a water bath is completely out, I do  not feel like having cat claws stuck in my arm, thank you very much!), then sprayed the cat with flea stuff, cleaned the floor where cat was shaved (want to cut nose off my face now it itches to bad!!), then showered. Oh, and insert 'did lots of laundry' in there somewhere.  So after...

Perfect for this Two for Tuesday, since Benedryl left me in a HAZE for 2 days! (and well, I like purple) I found myself this morning desperate to find some way out of that dreamy, cloudy feeling. I now remember why I stopped taking the stuff. It went a little like this today: Wake up, take Benedryl, sit at computer, doze off, fall into heavy dreaming sleep, wake up, try to figure out if this is still a dream , have nagging feeling I need to do something, but can't remember what, and know I am unprepared for it. Resolve to get back to work, sit at computer, doze off again, dream I volunteered to speak in front of my high school children's class, about what I do. In dream, I am late, and reconsider that high school children will want to learn how to crochet, or even care, get interrupted so I am even later . Wake up, still feeling like I am in a dream, wondering what it is I am supposed to be doing that i just can't remember. I can't get my head out of that dream feelin...

Music Monday! Today I don't feel like doing anything....

That is exactly how I feel today. After a crazy full weekend, After a crazy full week last week, After our out of town visitors left  after being here 2 weeks . My allergies are bad , again today,  and from all the reports  will not be any better  for the rest of the week . And also, the show I worked so hard to prep for,  was a lot of work  for a few little sales . So today, I don't feel like doing anything. I am sure you all have days like that too. Days where your get up and go   already got up and went . Days where you just want to stay in your bed . Days where you don't want to comb your hair , 'Cause you ain't gonna go nowhere . So kick your feet up and stare at the fan , Turn the TV on ,  and throw your hand down your pants .... ( it's in the lyrics folks! ) and enjoy this fun song,  The Lazy Song , by Bruno Mars . The monkeys made me giggle all through the video.

Allergies...Ugh - but this info may help us all.....

I have had a terrible week this week as far as allergies go. I still don't know what I am actually allergic to, but Tuesday night and most of Wednesday I was completely suffering more than all year! I took a normally effective medicine, Claritin , but it felt like I took nothing at all. I have tried other medicines, but most make me feel, as they say, foggy or cloudy, but I say like I am swimming in gel. (I hate that feeling!) I complained to anyone who would listen, and found out some interesting things along the way. Many more people suffer from allergies than you think - more than 26 million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies. Allergies also take a toll on mental well-being. Studies have shown that during ragweed season, allergy sufferers often experience a general sense of fatigue — especially mental fatigue — and are more prone to feelings of sadness. People who suffer from allergies also are up to 14 times more likely to experience migraine headaches than those who do...
